Hi,
Does your dragon have sand/calcium sand/walnut shells/bark as a substrate? If he does then thats why he would be, because of impaction. If not he may have either ate a cricket to big for himself.

Dave

Give him a luke warm bath for 10mins,i bet he will poop.

he has sand substrate but thats all i know other than its clean stuff brought from a reptile shop. ill check if hes started burying poo and give him a bath
thanks!

Bath is the best option, but i don't recommend doing it now, unless you have night heating, as he may get very cold through the night. good luck!

if its a reptile sand theyre well known to cause impactions. the best sand to use is washed sifted playsand from bunnings. ($5 for 20kgs)

the way baths work is teh dragon absorbs a bit of water thru its vent which helps stimulate things.
if hes stiill not going after that, a trick always works is give him as much watered down juice as he'll drink, a night on a heat pack (warm tummy) and a bath deep enough to swim in in the morning
seems to create alot of gas an the excess fluids will help teh poo come out,..as will the exercise,...

get rid of the sand mate thats your problem!

and yes warm bath, loosens them up, gets some water into them and i even would massage there lil tummies a bit

You can also give apple baby food, it acts as a laxitive and try gently massaging the right side of the stomach.

My beardie has gone a week and a half before before a poop, then other times he poop's everyday.
Bunnings play sand is OK, comes out the same as it goes in, like corn.

Apple's worked for me too.

my 5 month old beardy loves to have a warm bath every sunday when im not at work. he swims all around, and just goes crazy for 3-5 mins. even swims under the water going crazy and diving and twisting....then she poos.

as in the apple baby food?

plastic syringe from the chemist, put a drop on his lips, press ur fingernail between his lips so he tastes it, and he'll start licking,..just keep adding more. :)

Will five it a go. We put some on his lips and he licked it off but prob not enough. Also when I put him in the warm bath how long can they stay underwater for. He swims for a while and then sinks to the bottom!

Dunno how long they can stay under,..never been game to test it! :)

just bath him for 10-15 mins at a time and if he sinks pull him up. :)

Beardy baths. I'd love to try that with my beardy.

My beardy gets agro when I spray him with warm water.

beardy baths

my beardies love a bath,...

is impactaion when the animal will injest sand by accident when eating?

impaction is constipation, can happen from alot of things but eating substrate is one of the most common. :)
