i start cooling mid june
night i give no heating, and 4 hours a day of heat at 28.
cool for 2-2 1/2 months.
slowly start normal heating again in mid august

Thanks shonfield. how cold do the temps get where you are? i dont want them to freeze but then it needs to be cold enough for the male to produce sperm right?

the coldest it would get in their tanks would be around 15. They could handle below 10 though

ok, my apartment doesnt get below 10 so thats fine! where can i find this article junglepython?? can i find it online?

It's in one of the reptile australia mags, doubt it would be online. Back issues are pretty cheap, worth the money for that article IMO.
