Hi there, has anyone got any ideas on how to catch crickets that escape the mouth of my netted dragons. I've noticed that they come out once the lights go out, and harass my little friends. Is there any kind of trap you can get or make. regards Kevin:?

you cause use those fly catcher things....there like big sticky pads. just stick that on the ground maybe with some carrot on it or dog food (Dry Food That is) if you've got a heat cord or heat pad. stick the sticky thing near that or on it that may lure them to it..

to find this thing... try coles - woolies - franklins im guessing they'd supply it.

Edit - Tired and didnt read properly. leave that idea though incase they get out into your house

Or take everything out of his enclosure and shake them out into a bucket or something big so they cant get out... then make them suffer by making sure they get into your little friends mouth :p

place a container like the ones the crix come in cut / burn 4 holes around the sides big enough for the crickets to get thru place a piece of egg carton and some food ie carrot lettuce inside. by mornning you should have all of them inside the container... deano:D:D:D

thanks guys that helps heaps, i'll give it a go right now .Also did i read some where you can put the crickets in the fridge first to slow them down a bit before feeding?
