Seeking keepers of Dendrelaphis punctulatus (Common Tree Snakes) to just weigh in... do they actually brumate? I have a dude who came into my collection last year, first colubrid, and he was not doing so great. After much hard work, he is eating of his own accord and has been for months now, however the last two feeds have been a bit of a battle.
Is this likely to be a season thing, just persist and hope he comes good, or is this a vet trip for sure. Nothing has changed in his enclosure over the last 9 ish months. Just hoping to scope out some info as the literature is a little sparse.

Hi all, have had a vet check and nothing is seeming to be amiss, however he is still not eating, does anyone have any experience with this? I am hoping it is normal and he will start again soon, but am just wanting any insight available. Thank you
