Happy daylight savings for those of us in the southern states.

Even though Those who weren't afforded a sleep in were robbed of an hours sleep it was a joy waking early, 6am, on a cold, windy miserable day.

May your curtains bleach and your cows become confused with the clocks put forward.

I love daylight savings. That extra hour of light in the arvo is great. The only thing I worry about is that extra hour fading the curtains.

My internal clock allways gets me out of bed well b4 the chooks anyway. Never after daybreak, well maybe not 100% all the time but I love daylight saving and would like it to stay all year round. No way can i sleep in. It just dont happen. Daylight saving for me!! Ross.

What I'd give to have daylight savings. Stupid WA tools voted against it :(

Queensland tools did the same. In December the sun will shine through my bedroom window at 430. Almost makes you want to shift to New Zealand ;)
On a lighter note, the missus Ipad switched over to DST this morning before they quietly corrected it but not before she decided all the other clocks were wrong and "fixed" them :?

Nothing like daylight saving to stuff up your internal clock should just leave the same time without the chamge

Love daylight savings, hate the changeover. Especially when an already too short weekend becomes even shorter.

Have we already suposto of changed our clocks?

Cheers Brenton

personally hate daylight savings, in my trade i need the light to work so when its 5:30-6:00am i can start really early and be finished by 1:30-2:00, so it feels like the day goes much faster....

I was one of those tools :p

i love DLS more time outside with the kids (my reptiles) only thing i don't like is that it means summer is on the way and the mozzies will be able to have a feast again

Shakes fist! Damn you..... I cant start earlier so I miss out on extra daylight to play in after work :(

I vote it be all year round, especially in Winter when it's dark before a lot of people get home.

I wonder how many people change their reptile timers for it, hahahaha!

Im already over it , can we change back now. My bf works in WA , now I have to go to bed 2 1/2 hrs later than normal while he is away grrrrrrr

I get up at 4:30 every day so it's nice to have a few months of the year where it's not dark when I get up.

Its so confusing. I crossed the NSW/QLD border this morning on the way home and instantly traveled an hour back in time lol

it use to be a good idea before the summer's started getting hotter now its just a pain

i thought the early start was only for the year of the Olympics so the tourists could take advantage of it

time 'literally' to put it back to where it was pre Olympics, summer is long enough without the early start and late finish

typical bloody government, they love to stuff everything up

No idea what you are talking about? Hotter summers? Than what? QLD had a really cold summer last year. Summer is summer.... People who don't like day light savings need it the most. They are usually the obese people who should be out riding a bike or going for a swim after work. When we had daylight savings in WA is was fantastic for families to go down to the beach for a quick swim after work. Daylight after work means people are more active.

got to love the extra daylight, more time to sit in the sun after work and have a relaxing nice cold beer
