Do you have to clip pygmy bearded dragons nails?

well really what i wanna know is what the title is, they look really long for his size and wondering if your meant to and maybe thats why he scratches his tank?

my pygmy bearded dragon is about 5 and a half months old and i clipped her front nails last week for the first time. Her back nails seemed to be ok. Try and do a search as there is a thread somewhere that shows where exactly to cut the nail.
