All of my snakes do this... They just eat at what ever end they grab. The most awkward one was when my python bent the mouse in half in the middle and ate it that way.

my bredli decided to eat her's side ways. and she got it down and was fine. don't worry i have snakes that eat it backwards too.

yeah she eats alot bigger than that, but i had just got her and was out of large rats.
