Unfortunately Jonno, shooting cats is not generally legal. Especially in built up areas.
This is fortunate as the some morons would probably shoot snakes.

Maybe he was trying to dump something like this!

Its a bit like what those army guys did up north .

I dont know if you are having a dig at me or not but i was totally against what they did, and was glad to see them booted out of the Army that i love and respect!!!

Maybe some smilies next time will help me understand the tone of the statement??

There are T-shirts available down here with the slogan "if it is outside its back yard, its feral" and a photo of a cat.
A good point even if not entirely true.

When is that not true?! I can't stand people having pet cats outside their own property! I wish I could get some small wallabies (maybe tamars or something) and let them live in the backyard, but due to the local ar$eho!es' cats, I'm too concerned about them getting killed. Same goes for open reptile pits etc.

Where do you get these shirts? I want one.

maybe, but I can wear the shirt for a while and have fun, but likely end up in prison for a while if I try shooting the neighbours' cats.

Hey Shermy.
Dont get upset. I love and appreciate you. Both parents former career soldiers.

Hey, I'm an Army Brat from way back. Dad was Lt. Colonel when he retired. Bro Paul is in the Army, nearly due for retirement. He is at Wodonga at the moment, but heading home to Perth with a Compassionate Posting(due to the Daughter Cat.) Well, just goes to show the Army can be compassionate when they want to eh? Lived all over Oz when Dad was in the Army. Not a bad life. We(me and other kids in family) survived. I've got 2 cats. I make sure they are fed well, try to discourage em from attacking any of the wild life round here. Worried bout the native mice round here tho, the cats can't differ between the native ones or any of our escapees worse luck. Bugga!!! Cheers Cheryl
