My jungle girl just laid some eggs, this is my first clutch after three attemps.
She has laid a few sluggs/infertile eggs which are smaller and a yellow brown colour.
She kicked out one slugg straight away but there is still three attached to the clutch and this is my problem. Should i take out the sluggs? will they go rotten and infect the good eggs? they are stuck together and am a little worried about damaging the eggs.

Any help is welcomed thanks.

remove the slugs. if their stuck get a syringe and suck the contents of the slugs out

Try using some dental floss to seperate the slugs from the clump ,you can remove or seperate eggs from a clump manually for a while after they've been laid just be gentle and the eggs are tougher than you may think.

Scalesntails, you are right, the slugs can send the other fertile eggs rotten, sometimes furry fertile eggs can still hatch, but it is a lot easier to take away the bad ones to be sure. Its a pain that its often the one dead smack in the middle of the clump...

Good luck with them anyway... like they say 'third times a charm'
