enclosures for Nephrurus asper

ok i just got the cutest little Nephrurus asper male!! I cant belivie that it has taken me this long to get a gecko, as they are so full of character! Anyway, i have never seen him climb and i want to get him a bigger glass enclosure to put him in instead of the plastic tub so he has more room. As i have never seen him climb, would i need to get a lid for a glass tank? Infact, do asper climb at all?

Sorry for the dumb questions, im still tryin to get use to geckoes after years of keeping snakes. Thanks in advance guys.

asper are terrestial geckoes therefore don't climb glass etc.. but give them any chance to climb up high they will.. I keep my asper in tubs and they r seem happy in them..

Thanks, i have one adult male in a 40x20cm tub, i wanted something alittle bigger for then i put a female in with him. Thanks again raged.
