hey guys I have a levis ready to drop any day now
now I have the incubator running around 29 degrees and I also have a sims incubation tub ready to go

just a few questions, how much water do I put in the tub? or should I use perlite drenched in water?

also should I put some water open in the incubator too as more humidity or is the water in the iimcubation tub enough

feel free to add any input as this is my first clutch :)

thanks

I have a sim tub set up in incubator & am using water crystals... There is one hole in the lid where the temp & hygrometer probe go I'm getting 99% humidity at 29 degrees...

If I open the lid & sit it loosely on top I'm getting 85% humidity in the tub... Good luck with everything....

Have you used water crystals before do they work ok? I was thinking about using them but wasn't sure if it's a good idea or not?

No I have not personally used them before but was involved in a discussion with a group of breeders on Facebook who used them & they all got 100% hatch rate with their monitors...

I picked up some non toxic ones from bunnings

sounds good, how far up do you fill the container with crystals

My sim tub came with a line that said fill water to here...
