Hey Colin looking good - I've had quite a bit of mating activity happening over the last few weeks - they start later down here. Your blueys are alway spectacular.

thanks for posting

Hi Colin,

If you have any excess Alpine males this season, could you please let me know?

How long do you keep the young ones before you know which ones you want to hang on to for next year, & also when you can start making educated assumptions on their sex?

Cheers,
Tonksy

Ye alright, ile see how things go,some juveniles ive got a fair idea about the sex but allot are difficult until they are a bit older, like the two i had left after you got yours, well one was female and the other which was a bright orange one was male. They are like little adults now and the male outside left one which is female totally alone and started attacking the young male, hes now separated.Cheers

No worries mate, I'm not in a rush or anything, so just whenever, just in case if you have any excess to your needs & aren't bought by someone else. Cheers, thanks for that.

Yeah, the girls I got from you have both grown a fair bit, haven't measured them though, & coloured up nicely, not as much contrast as the girl you posted on this thread though.

Good luck with the babies this year, hope all goes well.
