hey, so i managed to get my parents into letting me get a snake:lol: and im planning on getting a woma next year at the next reptile show and i just have a few questions

with the feedin at what age should i start feeding it, how often and what size(ive read fuzzys and weekly)
and what is the best way to defrost them? i know not to use boiling water of the microwave. should i just leave them out at room temp, put them in cling wrap and a bag in hot tap water or could u put a plate over a bowl of hot water(like when making noodles) and just sit it on top?

enclosure wise, i figured it would be better to put it in a "click clack" or smaller tank/viv first, but what size. is 2ft ok or should i go smaller? if so about what size and how long can they stay in there till i move it to its adult enclosure(few months, year)?
what should i put in it, is just food/water bowl and hide pretty much all i need

thats about all i can think of.
thanks

All these questions will be answered by the breeder. All our womas are feeding weekly on fuzzy mice before we sell them. Defrost them at room temp, won't take long. Small click clack is fine. 2 foot is fine. Need substrate water bowl and hide. Plus some sort of heating. We along with other breeders will provide care sheets/ assistance answering these questions and more

Usually a 30/32 litre Starmaid tub or similar for starters and concur with everything that Riffherper said.

Heat mat under the tub, set to 32 degrees. I had tiles under the tub and had the heat mat between the tiles and the tub.

Only allow the heat mat to cover 1/3 of the tub so that a thermal gradient can occur.

As a substrate, take your pick.....paper towel, newspaper, kritters crumble etc.

Place the hide at the warm end and water bowl (small - like a ramekin) at the cool end.

Good luck with it and remember keep researching........and then some.

U always keep learning.

Just let it defrost at room temp, then run under warm, not hot, tap water to warm it up. Dry it a bit with paper towel

Have a look at this thread. It is quite helpful when setting up your first click clack.

I wrote all my answers in blue. Any reliable breeder will be able to answer all your questions. Womas are a great choice for a first snake.
