Finished Enclosure

Hi folks, this is the finished enclosure made from the $10 melamine shelving unit I found out the back of the local chemist. Prices included - 2 sets of glass(secondhand) doors and tracks - $110, basic thermostat from Ebay - $29.50(inc postage), 2 ceramic light holders - $5 ea, homemade light cover - $0, water bowls - $4ea from Cheap as Chips, 2 vents from Mitre 10 - $8, already had purple night light and thermometer, 2 wall hanging plant pots from Reject Shop - $1ea. Still waiting for a Ceramic Heat Emitter to come from Ebay - $31(inc postage). Middle shelf from local cabinet maker - $0(it was used originally for packing material), so all up has cost about $200 or thereabouts - pretty good I reckon.
Nothing in the bottom enclosure as yet - waiting for ceramic heat emitter. Probably another MD going in there, so we can separate our males. Little female MD up the top.

There is a yearling or thereabouts(could be older - not sure as she might have been a tad underfed during Pete Bredl's illness before he died) Murray Darling Carpet Python(female) in the top section. When the ceramic heat emitter gets here, we will separate our two MD boys(Boof and Judas(bites-but is settling down now) Judas will go in the bottom section.
Our MD's and Darwin Carpet girls love their plantpot hides, more so than the hide boxes on the floors of the enclosures. Bought our Darwin girls(very very bitey) from Bredl's Reptile Park in Renmark.
