Cool stuff hozy, a slough is great to watch. I considered one of Kens Crosses but went for a Darwin instead.

yea i thought long and hard about it and i thought why not be different and get somthing that is good for me.

it was worth the $150 easy if i had the chance to buy one more i would!
i know most of the herpers think they might be wrong and never been created but what can i say.... thats there opinion not mine so yea have good one.

Yep I misread the post sorry
I have yet to see the nose rubbing but have seen my coastal half way through and i caught my male darwin at it on sunday night it is awesome to watch it peel off !
But dont get your hopes up you may not see it !

I am sure a lot of people here will agree only way to solve this problem is to buy heaps of snakes so you have more of a chance to see it happen :lol:

It is gettin ready to shed. After they lose their opaque colour it may take between 3-7 days for it to shed.

yep, maybe give the cage a mist. But its probably not needed because its already quite humid.

When the eye goes clear again, it means that it is almost ready to shed. Pretty soon the whole skin will come off, hopefully in one piece. Do not be alarmed, this is perfectly natural.
