Congrats Hozy, take in all the info you can mate and apply it well. Its a learning curve for quite a while and i'm sure you will get many surprises along the way. Good Luck with it all
Oh, and also once you find someone with the same or similar species, don't be scared to pm particular members for advice.... I have and ive been keeping for almost 7 yrs and am still learning off others, and you can get alot of great help without all the cheap shots. :wink:

my snake was bitten by a mouse does that do anything to the snake?
i swobed it with 77% alcahol and is this bad or good??

are you feeding live hozy? tut tut

perhaps try putting some betadine on it to hopefully prevent it from getting infected. alcohol would probably hurt a fair bit on a cut

sure will even if i stay up all night lol maby not all night but close to it. hehehe

yea then i can measure the skin and see how long he is if its still intact after the shed

I hope you waited for it to shed before you tried to feed it... live or not, its pretty hard to get your skin off over a big bump in your tummy.....

Use betadine on the wound and keep a good eye on the snake, dont handle for a few days or you could help infect the wound.
If the snake start acting out of sorts, lethargic, etc.. take it to a vet ok?
