hey mate get hold of josh, j.kcustoms on here, he has built some great looking enclosure, i picked mine up last weekend and he did a awesome job and it was a very good price. He also has a web page jkcustoms go check it out

Sweet as, thanks mate.

Still trying to figure out why the crap my heat mat is buzzing when the thermostat cuts power. It's really irritating =(

I have a stimsons python and I live in Brisbane... we have a 4 ft wooden enclosure for our two year old boy... one hide at the warm end and one at the cool end... contrary to popular belief he likes to climb so we have a few branches in there as well... one large water bowl which we put in the cooler gradiant... one rock that sits under his light and he basks there during the day... we have a red light attached to a thermostat set to 35 degrees during the day.. its on a timer and turns off at around 8 at night... we don't use a heat source at night as of yet as he seems to be coping just fine with the drop in temps... fantastic snake species .. whilst i appreciate that all snakes are different our little guy has never once thought about harming us.. and i've never even seen him coil to strike... welcome to the world of snake owning...p.s i find glass tanks hard to keep the temp constant in.. we originally had hunter in one and i sold it.

Buzzing heat mats equal danger to me. I'd take it back where you got it from and get it replaced ASAP.
