Hey guys..

So I'm new to the reptile world.

I was looking around the net at Snakes that are recommended as first snakes.

And I was on a site that was obviously not Australian as it recommended Corn snakes and king snakes which are illegal here yeah? :?

But I love the bright colours of the corn snake.

What would a good snake be to start with? Is there any Aussie snakes similar to the corn?

Cheers guys
Tryso.

Hi, I went and looked on the Internet, firstly I will give you this GREAT piece of advice...

You are going to care for this snake maybe for 20 or more years... MAKE SURE IT IS ONE YOU WANT, or you will end up selling it and regreting it.

Try a Bredli (red or hypo) or a Coastal, Darwin or a hypo Coastal... Jungles are nice too... Have you looked at a black & gold jungle? Or along those lines?
