Food sizes

Just looking to put al my snakes on rats.

2 x diamonds are currently eating fuzzy mice, but could go up to weaner mice in my opinion.
1 x stimson currently eating weaner mice, but again could go up to the next size (adult??)
1 x woma currently on weaner rats but definitly going up to small adult rats in a few weeks.

Now for the first two pythons - what would be the equivilant size rat to feed them.
Just a rough idea would be great.

Diamonds are 40/50cm, Stimmy is probably about 50/60cm.

Pink rats is about as small as they come so start with pink rats then work up from there!

fuzzie mice would be the same size as pinky rats and adult mice would be about the size of a weaner rat...
are your snakes just from this season?

I think the weaner mice I buy are alot bigger than the adult mice that petshop has available, theres no way my stimmy could wolf down a rat that big lol.

The Stimson should eat velvet rats; the Woma fuzzies, and the Diamond pinkies.

I think the weaner mice I buy are alot bigger than the adult mice that petshop has available, theres no way my stimmy could wolf down a rat that big lol.

a weaner mouse cannot be bigger than an adult mouse.......

I think he did a typo and meant weaner rat, as weaner rats are around 35g and adult mice 20g??

Diamonds - Depends what size your fuzzy mice are, generally they are around 10g which means I would give them velvet rats, if you think they can have weaner mice put them on fuzzy rats which are around 15g.
Stimson - Would take fuzzy rats too.
Woma - Small rat say 50g.

Yeah I meant weaner rats not mice, thats my bad lol

They can eat things quiet large, you'd be surprised. Womas by 80 I'd guess would be eating larger items than weaner rats, I'm feeding a 5month old hatchie large weaners and he's far from 80cms.

Yeah I am thinking about putting him onto small rats. Thing is I dont want to go and buy say 10 or 20 small rats from a breeder and then he moves up a size and Im left with all these huge rats. -_- lol.

I cant afford to keep buying them from the pet shop. 5 small rats = $39.95.

Yeah shops are dodgy like that, just buy him a few of each size, and upgrade, they love a big meal, I always give womas big meals. If not buy weaners and feed him two until finished.
