This little dude is excess to breeding colony. He is a legally wild caught animal, so age unknown. As is usually the case I ended up with too many males and not enough females LOL!!

If you are interested, please feel free to pm or email me at [email protected]

He is located in Brisbane, but am willing to freight.

$280

:0)

Pics will be added later tonight.

He is still available, price reduced to $250.

Bump...make me an offer. May be able to arrange female for buyer.

you paid $280? that encluding shipping and fees from WA or something?

Just so you know the Nephrurus Levis Occidentalis subspecies is probably one of the rarest subspecies in the levis group. Currently as far as I am aware there has only been a few captive bred hatchings which makes this a rather rare specimen to have. Being an adult WC (on permit) specimen that has been incaptivity for a good number of months now means it has accustomed quite well. Quite honestly I truely believe an adult, well maintained thats pretty rare incaptivity like this specimen should be going for more along the lines of $300. $280 is a great price for an adult.

Average pricing scale (based on juvies)

Nephrurus Levis Levis - $120 - $150 per juvie
Nephrurus Levis Pilbarensis $230 - $250 per juvie
Nephrurus Levis Occidentalis $230 - $250 per juvie

So $280 for an ADULT is pretty good to me.

Excluding fees and shipping from WA, I think you may both be mistaking him for a Nephrurus levis levis? He's a Nephrurus levis occidentalis. Hatchling occidentalis will sell this season for $250, whereas hatchling levis are around the $150 mark.

i know the price of levis ;) wild caught too.. anyhow. good luck with the sale

If you know a collector who will go out and collect occidentalis for less than $280 per animal please pass on the details LOL!

I think you might have missed the point there dude... In my opinion $300 would be a cheap price to pay for this animal, so I was referring to those offering $150 as those who were "dreamin"

maybe im wrong here so maybe someone will let me know....
This MAle N.Levi was wild caught, yet you say you have to many males.....
3 questions..
first?.. why did you obtain a wild caught levis if you might have had the chance of being over loaded with males??
second?... if he is so rare, why not keep him...since he was wild caught?
third?..why dont you let him go back to the wild where he came from..pay the frieght and let our beautiful wild life live the way they want to live..... wild
cheers Brett
PS. long live Steve.... he protected our WILD life

It was taken leagally in WA, people can apply for special permits.

It's the wrong place to start this thread major.. And I would encourage to learn a little more about the captive numbers of this species before you start throwing your weight around regarding what you think of taking herps from the wild. Where do you think your 'captive bred' animals came from originally?
