Hello!
Been a follower but now a member for a while, always had reptiles and studying zoology ect on top of tattoo, I have a few beautiful snakes, including a very firey defensive MD python! Like humans they have personalities and this girl just loves to be looked after and left alone, she’s now about 5 and reaching 6 foot but a smaller girl compared to the girth of my others, still love her!

If anyone else has a snake that doesn’t like much interaction I’d love to heat about it!

I have others that are just lovely, fun to work with the lot of them!

Please share the “personality’s” or your opinions on your snakes! I know people say they don’t have personalities but I’ll tend to disagree.

Hello and welcome to the page! I also have a female MD who is around 6 years old and she is very placid, which I believe is the case for most MDs. That’s not to say that she comes rushing out of her enclosure to be handled but she’s easy to get out and relaxed once out. You must have just been unlucky 😳 but as you say, you still love her.

they definitely have personalities. we have had a couple of not so nice snakes and 1 absolute arsehole (a jungle )who would whack me 6 -8 times every time I went near him. Luckily it didn't hurt, just blood everywhere. My son had a woma that wasn't very friendly and give him a kiss every now and then. But my Childrens is an absolute angel, he's the 1 I give to my grandchildren for a cuddle. The coastal carpet is a bit iffy. The diamond and the darwin were fine, same as most of the Ants
