Ooh nice my friend and I never see her freshie eating when he's fed the food is left on his land area,and in the morning it's gone. And quite a few of the fish in the tank keep going missing.haha. I tried offering him food on tongs the other day,whilst he was in the water, but he was absolutely not interested My friend is hoping he'll get over this as he gets older

yeah but you need a demonstrators licence to have one and they have a annual cost starting at $600

He comes rushing out of the water when i put his food down to eat it, he will get a nip of your finger if you are not quick enough.
There are a few other vids elsewhere of him jumping out of the water for his food.
He is also in my lounge room which has very high traffic some days and nights and he is fine, he ate the other night infront of an audience of about 15people.
He goes a bit funny when I handle him though pacing at the walls and not eating for a week afterwards.
That sucks you cannot keep them in QLD, Its good in theory though. I think they figure if a croc gets out or gets released in SA or VIC they would have bugger all chance of surviving in the waterways as compared to NSW or QLD.

Yeah I bought 30 rosy barbs a month ago and there are only a few left, they are a bit too small and fast for him, I get goldfish for him and they only about half an hour.
I have one neon left in there out of 20 that has lasted since day 1. He is a soldier. Also the albino bristlenose and pakistani loach have both lasted since the croc moved in too.

Lukey boy- not unless you get a special demonstrators permit.
