In relation to my animals for sale:
Guys, I have been informed that some people have been starting a panic about me and my animals.
I have had the unfortunate experience of buying sick animals from Nth QLD. (Please refer to my other post in the trading feedback forum for their details.) And because of their animals, if has had a domino effect on my life, and now these people in late night chat rooms have decided that they have enough knowledge about myself and my animals to tell people not to buy from me because all of my animals are diseased.
If you feel this way - then don't buy from me. That is your prerogative. But when you know absolutely nothing about me, this situation, nor have you ever been to my house to see how I keep and deal with these animals, you have no right to be spreading such damaging rumours about me.
I am well aware that sometimes, things that start off as a rumour, and peoples fears twist them in to truth.
I will spell it out like this for people to draw their own opinions:
To my knowledge, no other animals other than the 12 sick ones have Chrysosporium anamorph of Nannizziopsis vriesii. I have read that the only way that other animals can contract it is to :
A) Have direct contact with the sick animal
B) Lick the infected area on the sick animal and then lick themselves
C) Direct contact with the sick animals faeces
Now obviously none of my other animals have had this sort of contact with the sick ones, and people would have to have rocks in their heads if they think that my babies which are for sale have lived with the sick ones.
So, draw your own conclusions, but know that I have done everything possible to contain this outbreak. And please also note that these animals were sent to me already infected. I have not contributed to this in anyway.
Thanx for your time, and I hope that the guilty parties are happy with themselves. It will come back to bite them one day.
