hi guys....im incubating python egg's they have been in for 45 days so far they are starting to sink in, the problem is one of the egg's has a mould like fungus over it ......wat does this mean is their anything i can do

I believe it is an indication that the humidity is too high. Try taking the lid off for a couple of hours (leave in the incubator so the temp stays consistent) to get the humidity down a bit. Also i would try to gently scrape the fungus off.

Although if other eggs are sinking in that would point to too low humidity. Not sure at what stage eggs are supposed to start sinking in though..? Probably not the best advice but i reckon if you just leave them they would all be ok.. shouldn't be too long before they start to hatch.

Hopefully someone else can give you some better advice.

If not take it out separate it and put it in a separate container. Fungus shouldn't really appear on a healthy egg. The fact its on only one egg means hopefully the others are fine.

I think they're sinking in cos they're gonna hatch aren't they? :?

Yeah, they do sink before they hatch, but like MrBredli has said, sinking (or (dinting like I call it, or collapsing, or caving lol) can also be due to a lack of humidity.
I have no idea of how long python eggs incubate for though so I can't say which of the two it is ;)

after 45 days it is normal for them to start losing moisture, but wipe the lid and sides down every day to get rid of the expelled moisture as this maybe the reason one is going off. Wipe off the mould and dust with tinaderm fungicide powder and it should still hatch if you get it in time. Make sure you only use the fungicide powder and not the fungicide and antibacterial powder. Available at the chemist.
