Hi all, now this is the first time I've bred any of my geckos and I'm hoping all goes well. Now I don't have a incubator or spare thermostat but my parthenogenetic bynoes just lay 2 eggs and I put them into a Chinese food container on about a centimetre of vermiculite with a little water added to it. And sat the edge on a spare bit of heatcord, its currently sitting on about 26 degrees. Just wondering if any of that is OK or not as I'm really hoping these hatch, one of my favourite gecko species.CheersSteve

Heteronotia are Gekkonines and lay calcareous shelled eggs. You shouldn't need much, if any water in the medium. Mix the medium properly, place approximately 40 grams of vermiculite to (i'd estimate) 15 mL of water. This has worked for me in the past when incubating Gekkonine eggs. 26oC should be fine for Heteronotia binoei.
