my first two thick tail eggs are due to hatch monday that will make 60 days, of the two eggs one definitely looks white and much bigger then the other, im just wondering if the other egg has died as it looks darker and if so wouldnt it shrivel .

actually ive now looked it up and sounds pretty straight forward.

on closer inspection of the suspect egg i noticed its actually caved in a bit on the underneath of it, and it seems to be darker and smaller so i guess its safe to say the embryo has died , it was due to hatch this week.

Just leave it, it may still hatch has the first one hatched yet? Milli eggs can be difficult to candle especially if there is some substrate still on the egg.

no i actually took it out of the container put it inside another empty one only because i was paranoid that perhaps my remaining good egg might somehow get affected, i think its off because it has white fungi or mould on it , you have to look very close to see it. But thanks for your reply, all my other eggs look fine ive got 3 containers i put each batch into a separate container.
