Gecko enclosures & heating

Hi all,
I am getting a pair of thick tail gecko's in a week. I am good for a enclosure but I would be interested in seeing everyone's gecko enclosure layouts.
Also I am a bit confused if I should cool them at all. Currently the room they will be in gets to about 16-17c at night and 24-25 day.
I have been told to use a low watt heat light at night to keep them at 20c is this right or should I not bother with heat at all?

I don't bother heating them, although most of their cages are on top of other heated enclosures, but room temp should be fine.
