Gecko ID??

My brother sent me this photo asking what kind of lizard it is, I replied it's a gecko but i have no idea what one.

Can anyone help??

only certain populations can, most can't.

Oh really, I thought all but a small population could... Probably gotten it backwards

How can you tell which can and can't, if there is one?

Well, if its a male, then its def not one .... other than that, wait untill it lays eggs... They have a huge range and only a few small populations are cloners.

Where abouts was it caught? I've heard and I'm not entirely sure it is true but that clone bynoes geckos are restricted to central Australia and is not found anywhere else.
