ok well tommorow i am gonna be at the airport in the morning cause i am finally getting my snake!

depending on whether it decides to exlplore its tank or stay in the hide box pics will come soon!

this weekend i am going to get some frozen rats and maybe try his first feed some time next week. which i ment ot ask what size prey should be offered and at what amount weekly?

his tank is all setup, the warm side hide box is nice and toasty and i got him a nice branch.

cheers

andrew

lucky bugger. (I am not alloud to get a snake and its my bloody house lol) just rember the people that voted for you... Got any photos of the tank with the branch?

Good on ya..hope all goes well..can't wait to see pics

its a morelia bredli, and its a boy. haven't decided on what to name him though!

now just organising licencing paper work, oh what fun

been there done that lol

mmm names.. for a male.. well lets see, i have, Agro, Rock, Sonny, Milo, Mogley, Albert, Herculies, and Blocker!

well hes here. he is smaller than i thought! maybe just over 2ft. he is definatly agro. imediatly went up the branch and is sitting there. wonder how long it will take him to find the warm spot. of course when ever i look in hes in a very nice S shape.

looks like hes going to be on smallish things like fuzzies (rats) or pinkie rats. his head is around the size of my thumb nail!

now all i have to do is find the camera!

also a bit worried that he might be a bit small for the 3ft tank, your thoughts?

andrew

Hi Andrew, When I got Luke he was about 2ft long and I put him in a 4 ft tank. He settled in perfectly, never stressed at all. I just tried to make sure his tank was as natural as possible, not over crowded with stuff but enough in there so he wasnt overwhelmed with the wide open space so to speak lol

lol, geez coming up to an hour and a half now! Oh the suspense! lol

come on its been a few hours now im getting impatient  lol

Congrats SLACkra on ur new arrival :)

hmm, should i post photos or be evil and watch you all suffer

sorry guys camera is with my dad, whom is at work! but i assure you that as soon as humanly possible i will post pics.

i can't wait till i can handle him, i want to know how big he is but i would rather have an unstressed animal.
