Ok, now I know that you can't keep pygmy beardies in VIC, I might have to get a normal one.
Which are better, Easterns, or Centrals? Could I keep just one of either species in my enclosure? [ 3ft long by 2ft deep by 2ft tall. ] I bought it from No-Two, who said it was designed for dragons. Some guys have said it's fine for just one. Please say it is, beardies are so much better than snakes.:) They are MUCH cheaper than snakes, and much more fun to watch.
All snakes do is slither.:(

I'd go an eastern S-buster. IMO they look heaps better then Centrals plus with an eastern if you can ever score an aviary then you can put him outdoors very easily. You could also put centrals outdoors but you'd have to be careful and go to a lot more trouble to set it up.

I just have one beardy in a 3foot enclosure...they are better off alone.

I personally like the centrals, but ive never owned an eastern so cant say much about them.

S-buster, the local petshop here is selling Eastern Beardies, if you have your lic set up and are going to the expo and want one I'm sure he'll let me take one and sell it too you. PM me if you want. They look good too.

Matt at Animal Attraction has HEAPS of really, really gorgeous baby beardies at the moment - colour to yellow, orange and white, all $85 :)

I bought it from No-Two, who said it was designed for dragons.

Acctually I never said that. It was designed for diamond pythons, hence the basking sticks, uv ect. Allthough I kept beardies in it at one stage (when I owned them) and they were fine.
