I'm still not gonna hand in my albino ball python..............

Browns, I dont blame you. That pic you sent me the other night was awsome man. :p

Just a thought for those saying how can it impact australian animals think of the cane toad and what it has done to our enviroment
http://www.fdrproject.org/pages/toads.htm
When first introduced in 1935 there were only 102 but now you cant get away from them in qld and they have no natural predators that i know of
Just my thoughts i may be wrong

Flowerpot snakes are pretty common, hard to distinguish from worms at times however. If i had any exotics no way would I hand them in just because of an amnesty. Most of the animals will be euthanised, I mean c'mon a zoo isnt going to have any room for corn snakes or ball pythons..

Exotics are a little like drugs and prostitution....they have been around as long as we know and as long as there is demand there will be supply....

I'm not handing in my blizzard lizards either?

blizzard lizards?
what most people are probably trying to say as much as we don't want it (well some of us) there is going to be exotics around forever

I heard the grand total was 2 Corn Snakes...

WOW That's a huge haul! Isn't it because these inspectors don't have any real searching power? If they want to get serious about it they should use an elite commando style group...Hmmm something like SNAKE-SWAT lol hee hee

i am sorry to hear about this

as a new member to your forum, i am sorry to hear about the current situation going on, but wow it is strange hearing about a cornsnake being and outlawed exotic snake, lol, sorry i am from the states and i do breed australian c.b. stock, and if i was in australia i would in no way agree to any amnisty that the gov. has incorporated, way to fishy with a lot of grey area's, and as far as where they will go most will be put down other's will be in some gov. official's home or office, i wish you all the best in this matter and pray no one gets railed by any gov.

they are nice olives mate. are they quiet to handle? should post some pics of your herps. i will post pics of mine soon i just cant work out my stupid camera. as they come out way to big to post so i will have to work something out
