heat cords

I was just wondering if i would be able to use a heat cord in a snake enclosure

Some people have used heat cords inside enclosures before, I believe that they put tiles on top of them? I'm not 100% sure though.

I bought 2 tiles & have sandwiched the heat cord in between with heat resistant silicone. have also sealed all around the edge , so the whole tile is cosy. I aslo run a thermo .

I havn't had any problems.

you can also router groves in the wood for the cord to sit in, but put a tile or something on top
