I have just bought a 3 foot by 1 by 1 1/2 enclosure to house my childrens python and was hoping someone could give me some advice on what would be my best heating options. Thanks for any help Paul

im biased , buti say go a ceramic heat emitter - a ceramic light socket [ if it duznt allready have one ] as the plastic one will melt . get a light cage for the heat emitter [ make sure the wire mesh is smaller then the snakes head ] otherwise the snake could squeeze in and get cooked .
then u will need a temp gauge and a thermostat .
if your going to use the fluro tube for lighting that will need a cage too [ not for heat , so the snake cant coil on it and smash it]

I've switched to heat cords, and my Coastal thinks her underfloor heating is the Bee's knee's now i wont go back to globes for heating...............
