help ackie problem

hi i just purchased 2 ackies and 1 of them has like a red thing hanging out of his bum like hes trying to poo but now hes just walking around with it hanging out if included a pic can some one please tell em what it is.

wow. i have no clue what that is but dont pull it out!!!!!!!!!! see if it comes out by itself, if it hasn't after like 2 hours, maybe see a vet.

i also just got 2 accies and lost one of them for a day then luckily found it so i suggest to you to watch them as they are SO sneaky

Possibly a prolapse? but in any case I would suggest a vet visit as soon as is practical.

Looks like a prolapse. A visit to a vet would be in order I think. Do not try to pull it off, it is part of the intestine that has come out through the anus. You can sometimes manipulate them back in but wouldn't recommend this if your unsure of what you are doing.

go to a vet asap. u dont want to take any chances

make sure you dont let it dry out, keep it moist and go to the vet. if it becomes necrotic you will be in for more trouble
