What kind of snake
how old is the snake
did it breed
what kind of cage is it in , whats in the cage
more info might help get an answer ...

I had a look at his pics and looks like a young (maybe yearling ) carpet.

The snake is 11 months and she is a queensland coastal carpet but the male is eating like there is no tom though

Being in a 4foot cage it might be stressed, have you tryed putting it into a smaller enclosure, was it eating b4 you purchased it....if so have you poken to the seller about it...

Why did you let an 11mth old snake into hibernation...? They are too young.

I would try and put her in a smaller enclosure maybe a click clack on her own and keep the temps at the hot end around 31deg and offer her in a week or two. Make sure she has plenty of hides too nd maybe some greenage.

put her in a click clack at 30-32c for a week on her own, just check on her without touching her, make sure she has water, and a coulpe of hides. then in a week offer her what she was last eating, if you have to leave it in overnight, if she doesn't eat it try again in a week. You shouldn't house them together, thats probably the reason for not eating, she is under stress. And at 11 months I'm glad your not wanting to breed her, it's more like 3 years;)

Hey Gothicsnake

Try KaaTom's suggestion plus:
* smaller enclosure (lge enclosures may intimidate)...
* plenty of hiding areas (so she feels secure)...
* try feeding her at night (use light from next room - enough to see what ur doing)...
* warm food (dunk in WARM water - so its warm & not so dry)...
* might even try keeping her enclosure away from light (still need the temp up)...

If the above mean major changes to her current environment, perhaps allow her a couple of days to adjust then try the feed again - don't rush with your attempts - for the first couple of feeds you have be there for a good hour.

Good Luck & please let us know how your baby comes along!
