Re orange eggs

Hi

The orange colour is most likely from the sand based on the picture unless you brushed them with a paint brush to get all the sand off.

If you can post another Pic I would be happy to confirm for you, as for the humidity if you have the sensor in the tub with the eggs then use it should sit almost always on 99 it will drop if there is not enough water however.

I will send you a PM for some other details.

Here are the eggs at 1 week incubation....they have the slight orange tinge but they have all filled out now.

Greg is right maybe two dodgy ones but the others have plumped up well from the original photo that was posted so you should only loose 1-2 from that photo.

Thats great...thanks guys....Ill post photos when they are hatching...I cant wait!!

Is there any reason why dragon eggs HAVE TO be incubated? Condition of your enclosure obviously good enough for them to breed. If you're worried about your incubator not working properly, why can't the eggs stay where they are laid?

Because most will shrivel up and die, it's far too dry in most reptile enclosures. It is wild, they are bale to find a nice warm, humid place to lay them. Plus most want a better hatch rate than in the wild.
