Hiya Guy's
I'm setting up a Frog Viv... and i'm in the process of making a 3D fake rock background I've made the background itself out of polystiryne and i have the cement to cover it in its just i got bondcrete to doing a sealing layer on it and Ive read the lable( never take the guy's at the hardwear store for anything) and come to find i cant use it for a water area for waterproofing ... so I'm lost as to what to use that wont hurt the froggies any ideas would be much help thank you so much :)

ROFL....I had exactly the same experience at my hardware store, I had the bondcrete in my hand as I was asking it's suitability for the same purpose, and he said "yep, that's definately the product to do it"

I too read the label 'after I found it didn't work'. Don't ask the store attendant, they only work there!

I have since bought Bondall Terratite, which actually says on the label it is for fish ponds and permanent water sealing. Havn't got round to using it yet though.

No, can't remember the price now but it didn't worry me at the time.

Yeah i saw an awesome rockwall and waterfall and the guy said he made it out of foam and tile paint. Its made for outdoor purposes.

Use tile grout then cover it with tile grout sealer...

Two or 3 coats will water proof it...;)
