I have a spiny tailed gecko which has recently shed and still has no colour back. What temps do you guys keep them at. She has a red heat lamp on at nite and nothing during the day is that right?

What do you mean still has no colour back..?

How old is it and are you supplying UV?

What type of spiny tail gecko is it? What colour was it and what colour is it now? Need more info......

All good now she shed again and now has got all her gorgeous colour back. I have a heat lamp globe on a night and it sits at 24 degrees and she has a normal light on during the day, seems happy eating like a piglet. shes a northern spiney tailed.:D

Northern Spiny tailed geckos can change their colour depending on surface, night/day and presumably whether they want to show pigment or not. That said they usually can only change between very grey and lots of brown, bit of black etc no real inbetweens.
