Just wondering if anyone could provide any advice on what to do with a new eastern long neck hatchling that is still in its shell.
Have incubated the hatchling (first time, from an injured turtle I picked up, appears to be the only successful hatchling from a clutch of five) and yesterday the shell cracked, though the hatchling has made no attempt to leave the shell. It moves when the plastic container in which the eggs were kept is picked up, but other than that, no movement.
Just wondering what to do next, or just sit and wait.
Thanks for any advice
