Hi,
Whats the best way to move a colony of woodies out of one tub to another?
Also whats the best way to clean the crap of the bottom of the tub without scooping out to many babies?
Cheers

I just use the vacuum on a low setting while they are all hiding under the egg cartons, during the day. I do one end then move the egg carton to the other end. Scare them all back under the egg carton and do the other end. Have only ever lost a couple of babies doing this.

Hey mate, I did it this way.

Take all the egg cartons out of one tub and shake the woodies off into a new tub.
Return egg cartons back and wait 10 minutes until full of woodies again.
Remove and shake into new tub, replace and wait for more woodies.
Repeat until most woodies are in new tub.
Then I just went and tipped aaaallll the rubbish out of the bottom into the chook pen and watched the carnage.

I probably lost a few hundred to the chooks but I have that many it didn't bother me at all, I dunno what your situation is though
