I need as much help as I can get with hibernation as i can get!! This is the first winter ith my 2.5ft spoted pthon (Herman). I just need as much info & advice as you can offer as I really don't know much at all. How long, Feeding, etc etc

during winter they brumate, if your not breeding there is no need to brumate, leave the heat on 24/7 he will slow down feeding, maybe once a month if at all, nothing to worry about, he will start again when the weather warms again..

I say Tony you are the MOST helpful person I haven't met. LOL. Joining this site was the best thing I've done. Not breeding him so I just leave everything as is. The last few weeks he's constantly been sitting up on the lid of his house. The heat and everything is fine. Even after he eats he goes straight up on to the top. Sits between the wood lid & the mesh. I'm thinking maybe he likes the feeling of the mesh or wood. lol
