Hopping Mice?

Just curious whether anyone here owns hopping mice and what some of the pros/cons of keeping them in comparison to other small mammals. I have had regular mice and was wondering how different they would be to keep and what additional requirements they have.

Very different. They don't smell as bad as regular mice. They can usually be kept in a small "colony".
Some don't like or tolerate being handled and can be more of a look but don't touch animal.
I have kept them on red dessert sand and they will dig and create small burrows.
