I was the only child in my school asked NOT to play the recorder.
I got to hold the music up.
I'm not tone deaf, I just can't make what I'm singing / playing match what I'm hearing.

take a look at the list of instruments i play....

believe it or not i was THE WORST recorder player ever.....

Last time i sang was year 7 music...with voice breaking...oh what a lovely sound

I used to play in a band in Brisbane for a number of years. I'm an ex-guitarist these days (as in, no band and no time)

Same, played aroung sydney nth beaches 20 yrs ago, now just have an acoustic.

So what kind of music does everyone play?

I have been playing bass for about 8-9 years. I started plying in a local band (Grease monkey Joe) at the start of the year. We play anything from screaming jets, silver chair, grinspoon, greenday etc.

On guitar: rock, indie, old school punk.

On bass: all of the above, plus funk and electro.

On both: Original tunes.

I used to be in a band. It reminded me that team work is not to be recommended.

also play the bass BTB200 ibeneze (the same that Ox is playing in my avater... gotta love LORDI)

main style is metal ranging from old metal like moterhead to the norwegian stuff like dimmu borgir to stuff like cradle of filth. and who can forget Maiden!!!!

also a fan of playing kiss and stuff on the bass gene is great

my mate plays awesome drums so we are going ot knock a few things together in the vain of AC (you know who these guys are.. the funny ones) group x, blood duster etc.

first song in the agenda is M.C Hammers cant touch this, remixed to metal and lyrics abusing wiggers!

played guitar for years, competent on piano and most percussion instruments.
apparently can sing too LOL, but the last few years have been running 2 technics (turntables) through a newmark mixer with a korg synth and a roland 909 groove box (effects as well of course).
