also play the bass BTB200 ibeneze (the same that Ox is playing in my avater... gotta love LORDI)

main style is metal ranging from old metal like moterhead to the norwegian stuff like dimmu borgir to stuff like cradle of filth. and who can forget Maiden!!!!

also a fan of playing kiss and stuff on the bass gene is great

my mate plays awesome drums so we are going ot knock a few things together in the vain of AC (you know who these guys are.. the funny ones) group x, blood duster etc.

first song in the agenda is M.C Hammers cant touch this, remixed to metal and lyrics abusing wiggers!

yeah good old Blood Duster... their first concert i when to (Metal for the brain back in 99 i think)
i got absolutly smashed in the mosh pit. and after the set i managed to somehow dorag myself out the beer garden with my fake id and drink till it stopped hurting.

Music

I used to play a fair bit of guitar. Mainly metal when I was between the ages of 15 to 25. Stopped playing just after I got married. Funny how the wife makes me convinced that there are other things more important then music:shock:

Now the kids are learning to play both acoustic and electric at school and at home. Think I might buy them a drum kit or would that really pee her off:lol:

I have been peeing her off for as long as we have been married which was 15 years yesterday. Now that the kids have taken into the herp hobby and music, they pee her off as well. At least I'm not on my own now.:lol:

I played Piano as a kid and started playing percussion and Alto sax in high school. Absolutley love the Sax sooo soulful. tried to play the french horn but I'm just not deadly enough:lol:

Does anyone delve into the electronics side of music? as in, guitar effects pedal construction, re-wiring guitars, etc? I build Overdrive, Distortion and Boost pedals and also rewire guitars at our local music store. Quite often people want custom jobs like new pickups wired a certain way, push/pull volume pots, etc....

yeah ive been fitting push pull tone pots /pickups /active pickups / pasive pickups pretty much any mod you might want to a guitar my current fav toy is a 5 position on board overdrive system takes my custom built tele from tom petty to pantera with a turn of a dial its an amazing littile unit

Cool Is it a FET based overdrive or did you use an opamp? I guess you had to route a cavity for the pcb and a battery compartment? Tele's don't have much room in the control cavity.

I haven't played for a long time now, Work and stuff takes up most of my time. When in school I could pick anything up and play it apart from the guitar (long fingernails) and the trombone (arms too short LOL) I use to fill a lot of positions in the school bands when others couldn't play certain parts. I own a piano, baritone Saxophone and recorders. I use to play flute, trumpet, drums and a bit of bass.
I was going to go to uni and become a music teacher but life happened to steer me another way!

well i havnt played for ages (darn work) but i've played bass and flute for years.. the bean (im expecting, due in october) stands no chance as my better half is a bass guitarist too.
he plays for LOE.
And anything metal, hardcore, or punk is usually getting played at top volume around here (my little bird gremlin is a complete metal head)
