I have been having problems logging into APS lately because it hasn't recognized my password. I've had to get a new password emailed to me and I usually change it back to my original password.

How often do you change your password on APS?

I use Linux as my Operating System and Konqueror as my browser.

Cheers,
Wombat.

umm only when i get suspended and get a new one when my account was re-activated

Bouncer, I'm on dialup. It is also better security to put in the password every time you log in.

Z@C, it is possable to change your password in your Profile, and that is what I do because I can't remember the site generated ones.

Cheers,
Wombat.

The first time it happened (a few days ago), I had to email Lutz because it looked like my account was deleted but he said it was OK and emailed me a new password.

It has happened twice since (including tonight) but have managed to get a new password using the "Problem Logging in" link.

Cheers,
Wombat.

Mine is the same as it was when I first signed up (jeisnake43).
I doubt anyone would ever try to hack an account.

Never changed mine. At work I have to change passwords every month on three different applications, which is a real pain.

Sdaji: you didn't really post your password then, did you?

:p

RE: Re: RE: How often do you change your password?

We have passwords? lol. I'm logged in automatically.

lol.

I am automatically logged in every time I open the screen. I have never changed it. :)

RE: Re: RE: How often do you change your password?

Sounds like you might have some sort of virus that is affecting your settings wombat.

Believe it or not I resigned once in a fit of picque. Yes its true.
So Ive only change my password once and I changed it back to the original one and then I am logged on automatically.

Sure, why not? No one would be lame enough to try to hack my account.

Yeah, that's his Girlfriends name, his favourite beast and his age.

I have a girlfriend named Jei? No wonder I believe I'm single, with a name like Jei she must have been bad enough for me to have traumatically removed all memory of her.

Actually, my favourite animal is the Eastern Grey Kangaroo.

Wow, I'm 43? What are all the post whipper snapping things which I should be getting up to?

Maybe I should change my password to Aimyroo25

Nah, its most likely his adultmatchmaker.com login name!!! LOL

Well, if I was going to be lame enough to have one, it would be Sdaji ;)

(I hope it's not free to join, someone will now probably make an account in my name   )

C'mon Greebo. Virus's are for Windoze suckers. I'm using Linux and so is the APS site.

For everyones information, I don't even have a virus checker installed on this computer, because I don't need one. :D

Cheers,
Wombat.

There's your problem. You should be using Wombat instead of Linux, no wonder it wont log you in.
