Why are great danes more australian than German Shepards?

Here's a pic of my best buddy....the pic's a few years old and he's getting some greys in his face,but at 11 he's still as happy go lucky as ever..i had another beautiful red and white staffy who was taken by dingoes Also my neighbours lost a rottie to dingoes not too long ago.

well i have good news as woma_n is thinking about getting an english staffie instead of a rotti or a lab so i will have a little tank to play with. nice dog stiffler, was it trained as a guard dog? as i have a few mates parents who have a german shepherd guard dog and he is a monster.

That's a really nice dog stiffler..very dark..and by the way staffies are also rel dogs for real people.

You'll love the English Staffy Ricko...a lot more in your face type of dog than the amstaff.

I love Staffies, pommie staffies are my preference. Surely Yank staffies have had more than just selective breeding of pitbulls to get where they are? They look different to a pitbull to me, stockier and not as narrow at the waist, perhaps the odd British Staffie has been thrown in here and there during the formation of the breed?(note the question marks,lol)
Malamutes, huskies,shepards,rotties etc are such untrustworthy breeds in my opinion, good looking or not they just dont have the awesome character of a staffie.
