I want to know

Ive been made to understand that every snake cage ,you must put a large bowl of water in for your snake to soak in,well my 2mt bhp will only drink out of it,hes had the use of it for two months and never been in it
am i wasting time and space.?????:?:?:?

if he get's too hot he'll go in it or before he sheds he might soak.

BHP's are not usually found in wet environments.

Also, remember that your snake does a lot that your not aware of. I have never seen my snake drink, yet I don't doubt that he does.

I wouldn't be concerned with having a water bowl big enough for the hole snake to soak in. That's a big snake and a water bowl for him would take up a lot of enclosure and probably make it too humid.
