Can someone please tell me what this is?

Tiger? Brown?

The pinkie mouse is only for size comparison.

Dont look like a brown, head looks a bit diff shaped and eyes look to small.

Please excuse my ignorance, but is a Dwyeri an elapid? What is the adult sizes of the Dwyeri?

Yes it's an elapid. It grows to around 40-50cm.

what did you do with the Dwyers? ..it does look like the Parasuta dwyeri ..they are not thought of as dangerous but like all elapids you dont know what your reaction maybe if bitten...

I would have LOVED to have kept the little guy, but alas.. I could not.
I'd be too chicken to keep an unlicensed animal anyway. :lol:

There was no way I was going to kill it, and I didn't really want him hanging around the house with all our kids and animals. So to be on the safe side, I relocated him to the far side of our property into the gorge area.

Sad to see him go, but I think he's now on the list when I get my vens license.
