Ok, My neighbour just called me because she had a blue tongue on her lawn and she is very scared of them for some reason, so she asked me to catch it for her...Now she had tried to use a hose but it didn't move ...when I went in close I found that it was missing an eye and the top part of its head....Should I release it as it is or can I do something about it? I would release it in our garden, so that it wouldn't get hurt by the neighbours....

Edit: It is very sluggish and doesn't move around a lot...

i would drop it off at the vets to be looked at

Can you ring 02 94134300, Sydney Wildlife and they wiill send someone. It needs to see a vet ASAP.
Looks like a lawn mower or whipper snipper wound. Probably less than a week old. Very nasty, airways are exposed.
