Is Betadine ok for Python Bites Please?

Have made the mistake of feeding two male MD's in the same enclosure. Yes I know I shouldn't do it, but Boof has always been such a pussycat. Now 4 yrs old, and getting rather big though. And twice in the last 3 weeks he has tagged me. Just want to know whether Betadine is ok for these bites? Nothing drastic, just scared me a tad. I am now going to put Boof in a click clack prior to feeding Judas from now on, that's for sure! Don't get on my case! I am not a Newbie here, and I know I should know better ok?? Cheers Cheryl

I haven't bled that much, which is surprising, as I am on Blood thinner tabs for my Heart Probs. Just glad that he didn't hit a vein in my wrist!

I use Betadine too.. good antiseptic n it stops the itching..!!!!!

Ok! Thanks for that! Boof has never ever been a biter, at all! Now all of a sudden he's taken to biting round feeding time worse luck! Cheers Cheryl
